   People watch Grey&#039;s Anatomy -- all about the problems in a hospital/and watch movies about wars and all kind of violence as entertainment.  Also people watch CLEAN SWEEP and others of that genre about getting a chaotic space organized ... real life problems as entertainment.  
   I&#039;m not quite sure why a made up problem (who can cling to a pole for the longest number of hours) is more entertaining than a weekly show/contest about tackling a heavy problem would be... still seems that someone could make it work.</description>

They must be afraid that tackling such heavy topics would lose them a large part of the audience.
