At my age (59) I am more ready than ever to live free of unnecessary burdens. I find that when I meditate--whether alone or in a supportive group--I am more at peace without grasping on to thoughts, feelings or attachment to a certain outcome. This doesn't make it totally easy to let go of stuff, but when I do manage to clear out a space I breathe a bit easier. I would say I experience more inner and outer space. Believe me though, I'm still a work in progress! Thanks for your very helpful site--it gives me hope that I can live the way I want to be, with myself and others.
