Hello world!

Posted by Sue on Sep 28, 2006

This is the home of my new blog, Overwhelmed by Stuff(c) which I am so excited to begin!

Here, I’ll publish tips, information, articles, my thoughts, and all sorts of hints about getting organized and making your space feel wonderful. To me the real reason for dealing with clutter and getting organized is to make life easier and more joy-filled. What “SHOULD ” be isn’t the point …what MIGHT be, is!

One of my key purposes in creating this blog is so you won’t feel so alone in the struggle. For many folks it’s a silent (often unseen) battle behind the closed doors of their home. This blog is a way for me (and all who come here) to share our experience, strength, and hope, even if we can’t meet in person.

So please, come back and enjoy all the information I have planned. I am 99.9% sure you will learn things that will help YOU!

Your comments, thoughts and questions are going to be vital; as important to me as what I have to share with you. Hearing which concerns are a priority for you will guide my priorities in writing. I’m so looking forward to our conversations!

Please check back soon! And I mean VERY soon as I have only a little bit of prep work left. with all best wishes, Joanna

Laurie:

Hello Joanna,
Blogging is new to me, as well. I’ve been processing what you’ve written about discipline vs. au natural. I sometimes believe that all the discipline in the world cannot get me into a habit of daily exercise. And you have a good take on my cluttering (no, not a typo) skills.

What I can do, however, with no effort at all is edit/proofread the written English language. In fact, I have to force myself not to automatically correct typos and misspelled words, etc. when it is not prudent to do so.

Therefore, I can definitely relate to your words, as I’m sure others can, too. After working with you on my projects, I also know that you bring the gifts of knowledge, energy and intuition. As a project moves forward, these gifts become contagious. I start to see my project through your eyes, which turn out to be [actually] my eyes! I still don’t get how you do that.

Anyway, I can’t wait to get back into my current project!

Thanks, Joanna, for being who you are.

Laurie
